Justin Wehniainen, CFA
Founder & Managing Partner
Justin brings significant hands-on experience as an operator, entrepreneur, and business builder. Having spent over a decade as a founder and CEO, he understands firsthand the commitment, resilience, and leadership required to grow and sustain a successful business.
Prior to founding North Edge, Justin was the owner-operator of a hospitality business with 100+ employees, where he led day-to-day operations, finance, growth strategy, and team development. Justin also founded and scaled a data-driven tech startup, which leveraged AI to identify market inefficiencies and deliver industry-leading client returns.
Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Justin began his career in the asset management arm of a global insurance company, where he focused on private markets strategy and M&A. Transaction Process
At North Edge Partners, we understand the significance of selling a majority stake in your business. To provide you with confidence and clarity, below is our comprehensive transaction process.

Schedule a Discovery Call
First step is scheduling a discovery call to understand the owner’s objectives and learn about the business and its mission.

Sign an NDA and Review Financial History
Sharing the latest 3 years of financial statements along with other material information helps us respect each other’s time by assessing business feasibility and establishing a solid, honest foundation.

An Indicative Offer is Provided
Once both parties are confident that our strategic views are aligned and we wish to proceed, we will provide an indicative offer at a fair price.

On-Site Meeting
Meet in person to visit your place of business and understand the operations at a deeper level.

Due Diligence
Completing the due diligence process involves a thorough review of financial records, legal documents, operational practices, and any other relevant information to ensure a complete understanding of the business.

Signing of Purchase Agreement
Upon signing and closing of the transaction, we will immediately begin working to fulfill our promises, focusing on ensuring the continued growth and prosperity of your company’s legacy.
